Try to get a high level mating pair. Gigas are one of the easiest tames. Trapping them is easy and once they’re out you barely need to pay them any attention. As long as you have the materials you’re good to go. It was level 28 when I tamed it, then I got it to 93 (this is with 2x or so boosted rates)
