It is possible that it is defective. Its single-action sear may be broken, chipped, or otherwise malformed. It is also possible that its previous owner (if there was one) tried to do a trigger job on it, and screwed up as only an ignorant amateur can. Was your gun "previously owned"? As for the P10C. I prefer the factory sight picture over the Elite. I just prefer the more square CZ sight picture. The P10C slide sits much lower in the web of your hand and is very flat shooting. I also prefer the grip of the CZ as is does not have flat sides like the Canik. I never measured both pistols but the CZ seems thinner carrying it ...
