Slaughter shaft drops 20-40 legendaries and a run takes 15+ minutes. That's 160 legendaries per hour at max. Graveward is repetitive and boring, but because it's so repetitive you can easily multitask and watch a movie or something while barely paying attention. That said, Slaughter Shaft is obviously far more fun than Graveward to farm. These challenges involve battling waves of enemies in an arena with a boss battle at the end.
