But Hippo Cove is the place to be. We dove over 6 hours from Pittsburgh just to see Fiona, Fritz ,Tucker and the family. They did not disappoint and we spent 2 hours watching them show off. It was very relaxing and entertaining.
Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Today the scale read 550 lbs for Miss Fiona! She is also 5ft long and 2.5ft tall and didn’t particularly care for being measured. 550 pounds may seem like a lot but an adult female hippo can weigh between 1,400–5,000 lbs.
