This is why boons were just a bad idea IMO. They're too hard to balance. The risk of boon perks is pretty high, so the payoff has to be really good for the boon to be worth running, like Circle of Healing. If the payoff is trash like Dark Theory, nobody will ever run it. Boons wind up being too strong or completely worthless.

One thing I suggested when the second CoH nerf rolled around is fiddling with boon parameters. The fact that CoH does what it does, and Dark Theory does what it does is a pretty big imbalance, but it's kinda ridiculous that Dark Theory has the same radius as CoH and takes just as long to set up.
