There are 24 hours in a day and 365.25 days in a year. This means that there are 86,400 seconds in a day and 31,536,000 seconds in a year. An eon would then be in the trillions of seconds. It would take almost 32 million years to count to one trillion! So an eon is a very long time indeed. Even in seconds.
