Project zomboid sucks.
Colds. Colds are the last type of sickness you can get in Project Zomboid. Which you typically get from having a “Wet” moodle for too long by staying out in the rain or cold weather. As a result, the best way to cure this type of sickness is by heading to a safe location (like your home) and resting there for a few days.
The gun problem. There is a problem with guns,they are too much of a liability and I think every weapon type should be reworked or buffed indirectly. For example pistols are useless,there is no reason to shoot instead of running or using melee. Assault rifles and shotguns are fit for helping bring down big groups ,and they are in the better ... Positive traits I almost always take are: organized, stout, graceful, inconspicuous, outdoorsman, and a couple custom traits I made related to farming. Profession-wise, I usually take Security for the sleep alertness. I still think smoker is one of the easiest negative traits to use.Since the arrival of multiplayer in build 41, most people think of only one thing, "Find gun, kill man", So most of the time players go to the nearest police station to loot, this leads to: 1-A horde kills them and leaves the place full of zombies2-They grab everything they see and leave nothing, seriously who the ♥♥♥♥ takes 4 recoil pads …yes, every bandage item has a different "power" which is just how fast they heal wounds. adhesive bandages have a healing power of 1.5, as normal bandages have a healing power of 4.0. you can also sterilize bandages and ripped rags using boiled water, which does reduce your chances of getting an infection.

With the 41 build though I just want out the door and its game over bitten. Not fun. In b40 you could basically just hold space/attack and hold off a huge amount of zombies.

Project Zomboid is much more focused on the survival aspect though (base building from scratch, farming, fishing, foraging, trapping, etc.) but can quickly get boring for people looking for a bit more as there are no human NPCs in the game (yet), no visible animals, no real quests, it's mostly exploration, base building and zombie fighting.

I feel like those animations were the only viable aspect to short-blade use, and now, there's no point in using any weapon besides Long Blunt.Why do I suck. The best part of zomboid is its simplicity, while being complex. Melee sucks without stats. With stats, say strength to 7 and up, you can one shot most zombies. At 10 strength I was killing zombies by pushing them. Some weapons have special attacks. Knife, one hit kill from the back, stealthy. Spear, can one shot. Can charge.
Sleep. The player is given a choice whether he wants to sleep or not. Sleeping can be dangerous in the post-apocalyptic world if done carelessly. Unlike zombies, the player and other survivors need to sleep. When the player needs to sleep, the tired moodle will show up on the screen. I would say start playing, that's it, getting to know everything on your own is so much fun. Only thing you can change is set up Sandbox instead of Survival, than change the amount of zombie start multiplier (you can find it in the advanced zombie options, the default should be 1.0, I recommend 0.7).
