Door ajar sensors on explorers get disconnected, sometimes the magnets get stuck. Spray WD40 or a lubricant on all four door jamb mechanisms (or two). Sometimes only one fails, and it is usually the tail gate one. Do a google.com search for the location of the sensors and see if they need replacement. Good luck.

Out of curiosity I left the hood and rear hatch open and nothing showed on the door ajar display for them. I then opened up the glass hatch and nothing showed for it either. None of the jumpers I tried worked for either of the rear doors. I tried in the harness in the b pillar and at the plug to the door lock actuator.
