Generally, volunteers in the Adoption Wing can volunteer Mondays through Saturdays from 8:00 AM until 6:30 PM. HART also manages a thrift store in Oakland, Maryland, called Pick of the Litter which is opened Fridays, 10 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM; and Sundays, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Volunteer hours for Special Events vary.
