Jun 2021. If you're beginning in Grand Junction, do not take the Route 65-50 loop all the way around. Once U.S. Forest Service land ends on Route 65, turn around and enjoy the views traveling northbound back to Grand Junction. This is a great U.S. Forest Service Area with beautiful views. You have easy access to flat trails and nice lakes.
