The Dan Band's background. Dan Band founder/frontman Dan Finnerty got his start in the entertainment business as an actor, notably appearing on the national tour of Stomp. After a move to L.A., Finnerty started playing small local clubs, covering '80s classics with a four-piece band that would later become The Dan Band.
