I have a F96 code on a PT7550 Double Wall Convection oven which says the convection fan motor needs to be replaced. Does one replace it from inside the top oven or do I need to pull the whole oven out …F96 has nothing to do with the convection fan motor. F96 means that your cooling fan isn't running properly above your oven on the back. If this is a double wall oven, uninstalling the oven and removing the back sheet metal panel to replace this fan is quite a task if you don't have an oven dolly.Aug 12, 2020 · So the f97 code was for the lower oven and the f96 for the upper?
