May 13, 2022 · The Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board is pleased to announce the enactment of 2023 HB 2288, a bill which adds Kansas to the Professional Counseling Multi-State Compact. The effective date for the bill is July 1, 2023. The Board has appointed Board member Laura Shaughnessy as the Compact Commissioner for the state of Kansas. This dual program is the first in the nation to combine the strengths of advanced study in applied behavioral science with a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree. The final deadline to apply for spring 2024 graduation is March 1, 2024.
