Jan 9, 2019 · I'm new to the forum. I just recently bought a used 2012 4010 Mule trans with 740hrs, that doesn't reach it's top speed in high gear. The highest speed I recorded in both high and low gear is 14mph. From what I researched the top speed should be governed at 25mph. It seems that the transmission stays in low gear regardless of the shift position. Kawasaki Mule 4010 is an excellent ATV vehicle. It offers very comfortable suspension rides even when the roads are rough. Mules are built to last, and this one is built tough enough to get the job done.
