Currently the regular Ectoplasmator or its upgraded version Attuned Ectoplasmator only gives Prayer XP and it needs to be charged. At its current state it is nearly useless and doesnt see much use. IMHO, the attuned ectoplasmator is only ever useful if you want prayer points for soul split. Doing it just for the exp I'd rather waste 2 inventory slots in urns and wear something to boost dps or have some lifesteal in the pocket slot. It's unlikely you would need those 2 slots that baddly anywhere that has ashes as drops.
