So for 4 supply points I can deploy a mobile pd escort that can drive off phase ships, kill missiles and fighters at long range, and use damper to tank capital fire. Flanking is a massive thing, one you shouldn't ignore. Aurora has really good mobility, so something like an Onslaught will just get flanked to death.
