W/O goggles i tried to "vaccum" the cloud but it finished the cast after .1 sec or w/e and also entered me into combat (weird) this was tested over and over again w/ the same result. I threw the goggles on and was able to vaccum it for some expected motes.
If you are a dps, chances are it will take a while. Even with 2 token drops per boss. I might only roll on the t5 helm near the end of p2 or if no1 else wants it. The difference between the helmets is so small that it's really not worth to make a fuss about rolls on the t5. Were Power Amplification Goggles not engineering-only, they would have far more utility.

Engineering also used to be the thing to have as prot. Now that other classes have access to head pieces and trinkets equal to or greater than the goggles and trinkets, I see no reason to have it anymore. There should be SOMETHING that engineers can use that no one has something equal to.
