An example of Remington's attitude is a bad experience I had with a low budget Marlin .22 rifle I purchased during the time Remington was having quality control issues.

Guns like the Outlander, SX 4, and the V3 are in a similar category. They are all reliable, affordable Shotguns for those who can't afford a Benelli, Fabarm, or A400. The A300 is more comparable to the 3901 than the 390. The walnut 390 is a very attractive shotgun. The Walnut A300 Outlander has a matte finish, and is dull in comparison.

Remember back when Beretta maid pistols for the US military. One requirement was that the pistols were manufactured in the USA. So they built a factory in the US. The A300 is manufactured in Tennessee.(from global components). Getting used to the safety on a Beretta doesn't take very long. I went from Remington 1100s to a Beretta 1301 comp .
