I put the steam deck case on my chest and prop the SD on top of it. It's good to switch positions no matter what you're doing or where you're doing it. I alternate between laying on my back and left and right sides. Sometimes if the game allows it I'll rest one side of the Deck on the bed and just play one handed.

Honestly every game. I play quite a lot of strategy games and I was kind of worried how that would play out on the deck but honestly the input especially the track pads are amazing. It does require a bit of tinkering with the input settings to get it to a smooth experience but even on default settings it works reasonable well.It runs fairly well on deck and theirs probably some good community control layouts by now for it. Cyberpunk runs great on it mostly 40 fps which in combat feels way better than 30. Red dead redemption 2 has a first person mode and is one of the greatest games ever imo. Crysis! The only reason to get a switch is for nintendo exclusives, so if you don't care about those then the steam deck is by far the better option.
