I'm currently taking calculus at my high school.So I am 99% certain you can register for Math 151 if you really wanted to. But doing that would be very unwise. If the placement exam results told you you should take precalculus, then you should take precalculus. The results of the placement exam mean "this is the highest level math course we believe you have a 50% chance of passing".
