We were looking for a good BBQ joint on our way back to Dallas, but unfortunately, Outlaw BBQ was a disappointment. Perhaps we're spoiled by Pecan Lodge, but Outlaw BBQ's brisket was dry and without flavor and the cheddar sausage had an odd, beef jerkesque taste. The ribs were not terrible but were nothing special and the cole slaw was too sweet.
