Additionally the barrels between the KS47 upper and any other 7.62 AR upper differ in that the KS has a single feed ramp where as almost all M4 7.62 uppers will have double feed ramps just like on any normal 5.56. The brs47 lower is compatible with the ks47 upper. I got a Gibbs ks47 upper on the brs47 lower and it works. But the lower only works with ak pmags, the follower on other mags sit too low and the ks47 bcg won't strip the the round out of the magazines.

The only non-KS47 upper I am aware of that works is the Gibbz G47 side charging upper. It's possible there are others, but I'm not aware of them.
