The Burial Blade was the first trick weapon ever created, and inspired the development of other trick weapons, usually on the premise of transforming to adapt to different combat scenerios. The Burial Blade was created and exclusively wielded by Gehrman. A Burial Blade can be found above the workshop table in the Hunter's Dream. The "perfect" bloodtinge build. After playing a pure STR, a pure SKILL and a 99 ARC, I want to start on my new project, bloodtinge. I have a few questions in regards to an optimal build. I've never went past base endurance, since I managed by stamina just fine with a 20% and 15% stamina rune. But how much of a stamina hog is the chikage?

Chikage is a skill and bloodtinge weapon. Untransformed, it will use your skill stat for damage and deal physical damage. Transformed, it will use your bloodtinge stat and deal it as blood damage. The transformed damage has a higher scaling and thus you will benefit more from bloodtinge leveling. If you want to make use of only it's transformed ...Chikage shines with transformation attacks. It's very powerful because it has S scaling in BLT and almost everything is weak against blood damage (bye bye brainsuckers😂). You can get gems with 5 health points regen every 2 secs. You can chuck that onto your gun so you wont lose any damage potential on your chikage. This wont fully offset the health drain though, but it reduces it a lot. Not completely, but slow down the drain.Physical gems affect Blood damage, just as they affect Thrust and Blunt attacks. Bloodtinge gems of the same rank will generally be stronger than Phys Atk Up gems of the same rank, giving it's tricked form a slight edge (about 26% more AR if you stack 3 of them) at the cost of making it's physical untricked form virtually useless.all starting weapons are good weapons. but the threaded cane scales primarily with skill, which chikage also scales with. however, chikage deal most damage during transformed, and it scales purely off bloodtinge. for many people, they only spend minimum points required (14 to 25) into skill, then pump 50 points into bloodtainge.Endurance that low can be fine, especially for pvp, since you shouldn't really be slashing the chikage around wildly and burning through a bunch of endurance. The 20 endurance you have is fine though, its really just a matter of comfort. So with all of this your build at 125 would be something like: Vit: 50 End: 20 Str: 10 Skl: 30 Blt: 50 Arc: 15Bloodborne Chikage build level 120 Bloodtinge gem full

Joking aside, someone here already said it best: build bloodtinge. I'd say find ways to mitigate the health loss if you plan on using the transformed state for long periods of time. I usually equip a rune that restores health on visceral attacks, but it's best to find your own preferred method if V.A.s aren't your forte.

Chikage's main threat is blood dmg in its 2h mode, which is effected only by bloodtinge and not skill/str. A hybrid version is okay but aim for at least 40 bloodtinge. 35 vit is average at lv80, 40 is safer, 30 is risky. Chikage accels at big damage in 1-2 strikes, so high endurance is not needed at all.
