MENTOR was created more than 30 years ago to expand that opportunity for young people by building a youth mentoring field and movement, serving as the expert and go-to resource on quality mentoring. The result — a more than 10x increase in young people in structured mentoring relationships, from hundreds of thousands to millions.
How Life Coaching Young Adults Works. Consultation: Parent sets up a free 15 min consultation. Program: Meeting with mentor to decide which program is best. Client Onboard: Parent Talk to the potential mentee about trying life coaching. If Parent has trouble getting child onboard, the mentor can be asked help get mentee to try life coaching. Programs. Atlanta GLOW offers individual virtual mentoring sessions for economically challenged, Georgia-based young women, ages 14-25, who are not yet ready to commit to our 6-month mentoring program, but desire the occasional or one-time guidance of a mentor. These sessions are free, but are not stipend-eligible like our 6-month cohort mentorship programs.
