Paired with the Aegis, the spongy feeling is gone and its a stiffer, crisper trigger throughout travel with no more lateral play in the trigger (like the factory trigger has). The Aegis forces proper finger placement on the trigger. If you use too much finger it will not activate the dingus properly and will hang up.

Re: Slides. I made a post in another group asking about slide interchangeability and the consensus was that you could interchange a LC9s slide with a EC9s slide to turn a EC9s into a LC9s. They are essentially the same gun. But the issue was availability.
