After a rather devestating defeat against to a smaller, and Pacifist, empire whom I feel had much better ship design. I'm looking for some tips and tricks on designing my ships in the future. When it comes to my current practices I've found myself researching many different weapon technologies and then creating sole ships for those weapons (such as Energy Corvettes or Kinetic).
