May 6, 2020 · Systematic reviews are a type of study design that aim to synthesize the best available evidence on a specific research question. In this article, which is the seventh part of a series on study designs, we explain the rationale, steps, methods, and challenges of conducting systematic reviews. We also provide examples and resources for further learning.
