Neither will rub. 295/65/20 is the perfect size on stock wheels with a 2 inch or 2.5 inch level. Anything larger will rub (badly if you go off-road at all). Without plow prep I would expect 2"-2.5" of rake on a '20-'22. '17- '19 without snow plow prep had 3"+ of rake. My stock 2021 Lariat black appearance package tires are supposedly 34.4 inches, (LT275/65R20E). I can't imagine another 0.6 inches makes much difference.

Specifically straight on shots to show the width. I'm looking at doing a 2.5" level and going with 37x11.50R18 Nitto Ridger Grapplers on stock 18" wheels to keep the tires tucked in the fenders a little more. People had to make a lot of steering component changes to make that work.

Stock 275/65R20 on my truck is 34.1" diameter, and 10.8" width. 295/65R20 is 35.1" diameter x 11.6" wide. That would add 1/2" in height and just over 3/8" on either side of the tire. I can't imagine Ford would have cut rubbing tolerance that close, but I guess stranger things have happened.

Even by the roughest calculations, thats 15" of tire sidewall, or 7.5 inches of sidewall around the entire rim. (35" tire - 20" rim = 15" tire sidwall total)

It makes sense that 18's will ride a little softer and that 20's will handle a little better but may feel more of the road bumps.Regardless of the model of F-250 you have, you will need to make some modifications to your truck if you want to add 35-inch or 315 tires. Even though the super duty model of the truck can fit 33-inch tires, some after-market products will be needed to fit larger load-bearing tires.

With a leveling kit you can easily run a 35 x 12.50 x 17 on it, but it will bubble out a bit since the wheel is pretty narrow for that tire. I've seen it done plenty of times and it looks pretty good.

Hey all, I just got my '07 F250 SC FX4 6.0L PSD, and it's currently stock with the 265/70/17's on it. I'd like to put a leveling kit on it (the one from Rough Country any good?) and put bigger tires on it.
