I was so looking forward to visiting Maya Chan Beach, but it’s already booked full for our date and it’s 2 months away! Can anyone suggest a great beach club that uses ice made from purified water, open bar, and upscale Mexican grill. Maybe some water sports or other entertainment available. We were warned online and at the port that sea grass is an issue at Maya Chan. They weren’t kidding. The grass what thick, smelly and squishy on the way into the water. To begin, walking out of port and getting to the pick up point is about a mile or more long. It takes FOREVER and the map they give you is blurry and useless.
