I've done Threads of Fate for all of my alts, I don't get what people mean by it being miserable. You grab all 4 of the zone quests. You head to your first lvling zone of choice. Que for dungeons as a DPS. While waiting do side quests, world quests, and bonus objectives. When you fill the bar for that zone you hold onto it and move to the next.

The only complaint I have about this is the order. It feels like "replay story" should be the left option instead. Mainly because this is the "natural" choice, while going with The Threads of Fate is a choice that locks you in and prevents change. Zuldazar-malganis. I tried Threads on a fresh 50 spriest (i regret btw) and it took me like 20mins to complete a WQ, same WQ took me two big pulls as 130ilvl unholy. Dreadstrike-aggramar. The difference between the two is insignificant. Who cares if it takes you 30 more mins to hit max.

In terms of replay ability- each character can go a different path (different quests etc) and stil get the same overall end goal. The main story was great, don’t get me wrong, but I’d say after 2 maybe 3 chars I’d be sick of it. You can choose the traditional story line on the alt and go back and pick from the threads of fate at any time. One you pick something from the threads of fate, you're locked in though. Not 100% on that, haven't tested it out
