School's Out, Get Out Series. Celebrate the end of the school year with an outdoor adventure! Children ages 4-16 may explore parks and green spaces around Milwaukee and beyond with the Urban Ecology Center. Activities may include hiking, climbing, biking, etc. Daily program offerings vary by age group and activity. The PHP Urban Ecology Center provides a natural sanctuary in the heart of an urban area. The UEC is designed to be used by the community for educational lectures, private parties, corporate events, business meetings, and weddings. The UEC has a 3,000 sq. ft. Gathering Hall and a 1,000 sq. ft. classroom available to rent. The Urban Ecology Center is a neighborhood-based, environmental education, nonprofit community center. Our “outdoor laboratories,” located in two urban parks, include 15 acres of wooded land and riparian habitat on the east bank of the Milwaukee River, an imaginative, habitat-themed playground, and a lagoon. Daily Schedule. Before & After Care Fees: $20 per day. NO Before and After Care on dates when there are no camps. 8:00 - 9:15 am.
