The dragonslayer axe scales with faith too, but yeah even if you only have the strength stat high, you're good to go. It actually gets a major raw damage buff when it's raw infused, moreso than other weapons. It's one of the strongest weapons in the game. I think a +10 is like 500ar unbuffed.
