The MK18 is a Navy weapon that has a 10.3" barrel, a Colt receiver (rumored to be made by Crane Industries IIRC as well), an LMT Crane stock, Milspec buffertube, and a DD RISII 9.5".

If you have multiple guns and are wanting a full length carbine to stretch .556 out to further distances, go with the V7. Looking for general use, the M4A1 with the quad rail and proven carbine length gas is awesome. I would go with the M4A1 if I did not want to suppress it. I would use the MK18 more but it just doesn't feel fun to use. That and a few other weapons have really lowered vibration in the controller and it really lowers the want to use the weapon for me. I usually prefer to use guns like the MSR but last i played there was a bug where the rifles scope would kick up while the character was racking the bolt.

Because you can aim very easy with m4 because front sight removed from the screen when you use Holo. (like M16) Mk18 restrict your view with front sight. And from my exprience, its more stable.
