OK I have a level 35 Bretton Illusion/Assassin (can I say how much I LOVE this build). I've maxed stealth, pretty close to maxing illusion, and have most of the perks in both trees. In order to stick to your idea of Assassin/Warrior Build, you have to stop leveling at some point so that your spells work on enemies. Along your leveling, make sure to acquire the necessary perks to allow your spells to work on higher leveled enemies; buy out all Illusion perks for Illusion spells to work on enemies level 70 and below.

Frenzy is an aoe spell that makes enemies aggressive toward each other, and pacify is an aoe calm spell. It's even better at master level.Destruction and archery in the same build doesn't make a lot of sense for Legendary. For me in one handed style I reached a good point when I had all perks up to illusion lvl 60. You basically have 3 things you can do with illusion: calm, fear and fury.
